My experience in the health and healing profession as a massage therapist at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health (Stockbridge, MA 1993). Subsequently, I took courses in Craniosacral Therapy as well as Visceral Manipulation through the Upledger Institute. My passion for learning about the body and healing expanded to include hands-on healing and energy medicine which I learned at the Victoria Merkle Center of Energy Medicine (VMCEM) with Victoria Merkle, Ph.D. and Gordon Merkle L.Ac. Having taken the Center’s Undergraduate and Graduate Programs, I was on staff at the VMCEM (1998–2018) and have received a Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Healing Science (2002) through the VMCEM in conjunction with the New Mexico Theological Seminary.

I have studied and practiced various forms of Lymph Drainage Therapy and am certified in Manual Lymph Drainage through the Vodder School and Lymphedema Therapy through ILWTI/Monarch Continuing Education.
My Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology is from Vanderbilt University and I have also completed post-graduate work in Pharmacology and Physiology as well as graduate work in Health Education.
